if it is sata check to see if it is regulated to 1.5gb transfer rate it will be a tiny little jumper by the connections if it has one you can remove it to increase transfer rate up to 5gb

yes i posted the links to the places i found for windows xp and windows 7 but they fell through the cracks in the space time continuim if any one wants them just do what i did and google the theme name with torrent after it

slight correction there duffy. remove the jumper and you get 3Gb max transfer rate but that aint anywhere near what you actualy get.
most 7200rpm drives will give between 50MBps and 140MBps...

often trojans and other malware are incorperated into a rip and often go undetected as they boot in b4 your antivirus/antimalware.

u notice that my disks only register 5.9, even if i raided them it would be the same.
the only way to get a higher score is SSD drives even then there isnt much of an improvment in score but a huge 1 in performance.

cpu @3.5ghz turbo mode on. @1.135V with 1333mhz ram
u notice on 3dmark my cpu registers @3.3 this is due to the app not recognizing turbo mode as it only works on 1 or 2 cores depending on temps and speed.

my final try tonight. 4.4ghz @1.3v gave a superpi 1m time of 9.251sec.

now im done with this session of performance over-clocking. i hoped that i would find a like minded individual on yer forums but i guess it was not to be.
anyways it was just an exercise in showing you guys what im about and thanx for letting me show off a little...

am i any good? well without blowing my own horn ( it's rather difficult due to a bad back :eek:) yeah im pretty competent in all aspects of computer hardware. try me and see.
